This supply of groceries will feed 35 kids in an orphanage for one month.They reside in the Lutheran village in Jacmel, Haiti.

Thirty dollars will buy enough rice, oil, maggi, canned fish, spaghetti, and soup to feed one person two meals a day for three weeks.

Sue Gross of Haitian Lutheran Mission Project (HLMP) thanks LCC donors for financial support to help raise funds to increase the teachers' salaries in Haiti.
 
"I want to thank LCC donors to help the HLMP pay the 49 teachers who depend on us to feed their families. We do have to remember that God is still in control and he will not abandon those who are faithful."

LCC Thanks Donors and Volunteers for a Generous Donation and Help

This week, 44 cases of snack boxes of individually wrapped snacks were delivered to Lutheran Church Charities and St. John, Mount Prospect, Illinois. The snack boxes will be used by our Disaster Response teams on deployment and the LCC Food Service Ministry for K-9 training events. St. John will be using their allotment for their community outreach ministry.
