Financial Assistance Needed to Provide Clean Water and Spiritual Health through Church Without Walls Ghana Church Without Walls Ghana (C-WoW) is a Christian organization discipling members in Christian theology in accordance to Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod (LCMS) teachings. Your donations are desperately needed to help C-WoW serve people in Ghana who have little to no access to clean water wells.
C-WoW’s current project is Hope Medical Clinic being built in Gomoa Kumasi, Ghana. This clinic will serve the health care needs of Goma Kumasi and the surrounding villages. When people come to Hope Medical Clinic (HMC), they will receive the Gospel message from the C-WoW members who will be staffing the clinic, as well as lab work and emergency care as needed. The clinic will include a birthing room for laboring mothers. Please join LCC in praying for the people of Ghana. If you are so moved, please donate to help provide clean water, medical care, and spiritual health to the people of Ghana.
Trinity Lutheran - Auburn, Illinois On Saturday, February 22, LCC Kare 9 Military Ministry Dog Dinah (Trinity - Auburn, Illinois) was joined by Kare 9 Military Ministry Dog Bethany (Trinity - Danville, Illinois) at the Trinity Lutheran's monthly "22" dinner. The Black Tigers Honor Guard did a special presentation of certificates to all veterans in attendance. The certificates highlighted the veterans' branch of service, years of service, and all honors received while in service. They also did a presentation of arms and solemn memorial in honor of Active Duty military members, as well as Gold Star families. It was a very moving service for all in attendance, complete with the playing of bagpipes and Taps. Lutheran Church Charities - Northbrook, Illinois
On Saturday, February 22, the LCC Kare 9 Military Ministry hosted its monthly “22” Dinner & Program. The evening began with the Presentation of Colors, Pledge of Allegiance, the National Anthem, and the Missing Man Table Ceremony, followed by a delicious dinner of chili, tex-mex salad, cornbread casserole, desserts and beverages. After dinner, the guests were treated to a presentation by Pastor Jim Buckman, who serves as a Chaplain in the Air National Guard. Jim recently completed a deployment to serve the U.S. personnel in Antarctica and shared his experiences living at the bottom of the world. The "22" monthly dinners have come to mean so much to many of the veterans that attend, from the meal that is served to the time spent with their comrades.
