Put Your Hands Together Food Ministry, Immanuel, Hillside, Thanks LCC Donors for Support

LCC received the following note from Jayne Siou, Program Director, Put Your Hands Together Food Ministry (PYHT) of Immanuel, Hillside:

I want to thank you again for all the support of our food ministry at Immanuel Hillside. We are so grateful to have been able to serve so many needy families during the holiday. On November 23rd, we served 112 families and over 400 individuals and were able to provide complete meal boxes, groceries, beverages, and turkeys to all of them!

Thank you for your continued support that allows us to be the giving hands of Jesus. We appreciate and are grateful for you all. Immanuel Hillside and Put Your Hands Together Ministry looks forward to serving the needy families and ministries through the Northern Illinois District in the New year!

Pastor John Brazeal, Christ the King Chicago, Is Grateful for Your Donations

On Saturday, December 4, Pastor John Brazeal of Christ the King, Chicago, Illinois, picked up from LCC food donations for the food pantry ministry, donations of musical instruments, school/office supplies for the school, cleaning supplies for the school and church, hygiene kits, rubber boots, quilts, and other items for ministry to the homeless in the tent city.

Thank you to all the donors whose donations filled the pastors SUV. Thank you for being the hands and feet of Jesus and making possible all the ministry that happens through Christ the King.

Thank you to Federated Foodservice and LCC volunteers for their Support of Christ the King Food Pantry

LCC volunteer Vicky Pientok and an employee of Federated Foodservice contacted LCC to donate 20 cases of food for the Christ the King, Chicago, Illinois, food pantry.

On Tuesday, December 7, LCC volunteer Bob Desiron picked up the food donation and dropped it off at Christ the King. The food will be added to their food pantry that feeds many families in their community who have been particularly hard-hit this year because of COVID-19, loss of jobs, and rising prices.

Pastor Hesham Shehab, Salam Christian Fellowship, Thanks Donors for Their Generosity

On Tuesday, December 7, Pastor Hesham Shehab, Salam Christian Fellowship, Lombard, Illinois picked up a queen mattress and two twin mattresses, and a check with your donations to help pay the rent for another member of Salam Christian Fellowship.

Thank you for being Jesus to these foreigners among us!

Sergio Otiz, ShowerUp, Thanks LCC for Donations to His Ministry

On Friday, December 3, Sergio Ortiz from ShowerUp, a partner ministry that provides free showers to homeless residents of Chicago, came to LCC to pick up quilts and cleaning products to use in their ministry with the homeless.
