Food for Haitian School Children

Because of your generous donations LCC was able to send funds to Haiti to buy food for the children we support through a scholarship program.
 
We received pictures and this note from Lophane Laurent.

Dear Friends,
 
Blessings to you from our Lord and savior Jesus Christ. Today it is an honor for me to thank you for your efforts to raise more money to support these poor children receiving a food kit with rice, oil, spaghetti and milk. Today we shared food for one month with 40 kids.
 
Since you know how their situations are, their parents lost their jobs, most of them don't make $40/month so you can imagine what a blessing you sent to them. I want to thank all of the members of LCC and especially our good donors who never stop supporting this program and special thanks to my brother Tim who came to Haiti and spent time after the earthquake and visited a big tent city and decided to give a better life to those children.
 
In the name of the parents and also and in my personal name, I say you thank you and may God continue blessing you and your families and activities.
