Christ the King, Chicago, Distributes Groceries to Those In Need ![]() Because of the partnership with “Put Your Hands Together” Food Pantry and Outreach, where Christ the King, Chicago, Illinois, receives food donations, Pastor John Brazeal, in partnership with a pastor from a neighboring church, delivers groceries each week to tent city residents in need. The bags packed by staff and students of Christ the King Lutheran School are a great way to teach how “to love your neighbor.” The two pastors set up tables on the corner of 63rd and Evans in Chicago, Illinois, where people in need drive up or walk up and take a bag of food for the week. Because of LCC's kind donors, not only are the students getting an education from teachers who care, but more importantly they are becoming friends with Jesus.
