Your Donations Make a Difference
Christ the King, Chicago, Distributes Groceries to Those In Need
Because of the partnership with “Put Your Hands Together” Food Pantry and Outreach, where Christ the King, Chicago, Illinois, receives food donations, Pastor John Brazeal, in partnership with a pastor from a neighboring church, delivers groceries each week to tent city residents in need.
The bags packed by staff and students of Christ the King Lutheran School are a great way to teach how “to love your neighbor.”
The two pastors set up tables on the corner of 63rd and Evans in Chicago, Illinois, where people in need drive up or walk up and take a bag of food for the week.
Christ the King, Chicago, Thanks LCC Donors for Generous Contributions Towards Students' Tuition
On Thursday, April 1, LCC volunteer Bob Morris delivered donations to Christ the King, Chicago, Illinois, for students' tuition.
Because of LCC's kind donors, not only are the students getting an education from teachers who care, but more importantly they are becoming friends with Jesus. Reason to rejoice this EASTER: He has risen and lives with us.

LCC Thanks Good Shepherd, Des Plaines, for Donations
On Monday, April 5, Miss Lilly Streich, a member of Immanuel Palatine, Illinois, and music major at Luther College in Decora, Iowa, picked up voice training books and sheet music/songbooks from Good Shepherd, Des Plaines, Illinois, to add to her library.
Thank you, members of Good Shepherd. Even though it's a sad experience closing down your beloved congregation, your donations will serve other congregations, missions, ministries, and individuals like Lilly, who is preparing to serve God through the use of her musical talents
