On Thursday, February 25, the LCC K-9 Ministry was invited to present and meet virtually with the Emergency Nurses Association (ENA) during their monthly meeting. The Emergency Nurses Association is a national and international group of Emergency Nurses. Each month the ENA offers the nurses a safe place to talk and find support. LCC K-9 Ministry was honored to be invited to present and interact with these everyday heroes during their February virtual meeting.
LCC K-9 Ministries staff member Dona Martin with LCC K-9 Comfort Dog Ruthie (LCC Staff), Top Dog Julie Blyckert with LCC K-9 Comfort Dog Isaac (Redeemer - Spokane Valley, Washington), Top Dog Bonnie Fear with LCC K-9 Comfort Dog Cubby (Redeemer - Fort Collins, Colorado) and Top Dog Jody Lockwood with LCC K-9 Comfort Dog Devorah (Redeemer - Fort Collins, Colorado) presented the history and mission of the LCC K-9 Ministry and then enjoyed spending time meeting and chatting with the nurses in smaller groups.
The LCC K-9 Ministry teams met emergency nurses from all around the world, including Illinois, Oklahoma, New Jersey, and the Netherlands. We are very thankful that God opened this door to serve these dedicated and professional nurses.
The nurses and other health care professionals provide each day care, attention, compassion, and healing to so many. Please keep them in your prayers for God’s peace, comfort, rest, and guidance as they continue to serve under great stress.
