Cubby Comfort Dog (Redeemer – Fort Collins, Colorado)
I was invited to the Thompson Crossing National Night Out. I met so many wonderful humans including fire fighters and police officers. It was a pawsome night out! Gideon Comfort Dog (St. Michael’s – Bloomington, Minnesota) Last night I attended National Night Out at Redemption Lutheran Church in Bloomington, Minnesota. There was food and music and games, and we even had a special visitor. It was a night to remember and cherish as we got together with our neighbors to celebrate our community. Julia Comfort Dog (King of Glory – Elgin, Illinois) Tonight I went to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Elgin, Illinois, and had a wonderful evening at National Night Out. LCC K-9 Comfort Dogs Chloe (Lord of Life – Elburn, Illinois), Levi (Immanuel – East Dundee, Illinois) and I made many new friends; amongst them was fire fighter C. Bradshaw and fire fighter J. Sardina, Genoa’s Top Dog, who is going to top dog training at the end of the month and her race-car driver husband (love his car). I met several amazing kids of all ages, and even had the pleasant surprise of seeing my friend Leyna who I first met at Walcamp this summer. Thank you God for the joy of friendship. Katie Comfort Dog (Trinity – Fremont, Nebraska) Last night I attended our community’s National Night Out. I met some really great police officers, adults and lots of children. I would call that a success! Rosie Comfort Dog (Atonement – Columbus, Ohio) National Night Out - what an honor to be invited along with police, fire, EMTs, and sheriff deputies to be part of this celebration. Please pray for our first responders. Thank you Jesus for calling people to this vocation. Sasha Comfort Dog (Island Lutheran – Hilton Head Island, South Carolina) It was a really great evening at National Night Out, hosted by St. John’s Lutheran Church! The community and local Police Department of Fairfax County mingled and enjoyed each other and the festivities...music, food trucks and cookout, games, face painting, bouncy house....everything you need for a great time in the neighborhood. It’s an honor to help serve the many fine people who protect and serve us all. Tobias Comfort Dog (Lord of Glory – Grayslake, Illinois) No amount of rain could dampen the fun (or stop the bubble machine) at the Round Lake Police Department celebration for National Night Out! This event enhances the police-community partnership, strengthens community spirit, and serves free hot dogs. Well done Chief Gillette and all the officers who organized the evening!
