LCC L.E.R.T. Chainsaw Teams Serve Two Illinois Homeowners with Property Damage from Recent Storms

Last week, LCC L.E.R.T. chainsaw teams served two homeowners that had damage from recent storms. Mr. T. had 6 acres of downed and damaged willow, evergreen, and apple trees. A large crew worked with chainsaws, polesaws, two tractors with grapples, and a mini-bobcat to cut, remove and burn all of the damaged trees plus do some trimming to better access his home, patios, and long winding driveway as they have a disabled daughter that requires a wheelchair.

Mr. T. told us he could not believe everything we got done in a day and how well his property now looked and has improved access. He greatly appreciated that it was the church that came to his aid and that he could see Jesus working through all present.

The other homeowner belongs to the St. John Wheaton L.E.R.T. team and had trees on their electrical lines to their home and many dangerous hanging branches over the roof.

The work had waited to be done until ComEd cut the power to the house for work to commence safely with our chainsaw and lift crew. They were glad to have the team’s assistance to clean up their storm damage safely.
