LCC K-9 Ministry Teams Respond to Provide Comfort to the First Responders Following a Mass Shooting in Sacramento, California
On Sunday, April 3, in the evening, LCC K-9 Comfort Dogs Micah (Light of the Valley - Elk Grove, California) and Rahab (St. Andrews - Stockton, California) and their ministry teams visited the Sacramento Police Department (Sac PD) and Sacramento Regional Fire & EMS Call Centers to provide comfort to the first responders following a mass shooting.
The Sac PD Call Center coordinated with Fire & EMS, Sacramento County Sheriffs, Elk Grove Police Department, and CHP for the mass shooting on Sunday in Sacramento that left six dead and at least twelve injured. These dedicated people dealt with all the calls from the public as well as the radios for the first responders.
LCC never goes where we are not invited. LCC K-9 Comfort Dog Ministry NEVER charges those we serve as we bring the Mercy, Compassion, Presence and Proclamation of Jesus Christ to those suffering and in need. Please pray for all those affected by this horrible shooting.
