![]() On Wednesday, May 17, the first delivery of furniture was made to the new Hospitality House at Living Christ Lutheran Church in Arlington Heights, Illinois. Partnering with LCC, the Hospitality House at Living Christ is the second Hospitality House in the Chicagoland area. On April 1, 2022, the Hospitality House at Trinity Galewood welcomed its first family. In response to the critical need for short-term emergency housing, Living Christ Lutheran Church of Arlington Heights started a new Hospitality Ministry by converting their vacant parsonage into a Hospitality House. The fully furnished Hospitality House will provide safe, short-term, affordable housing for families in transition or in crisis. Through this new Hospitality Ministry, the congregation is looking forward to “rebuilding families in crisis” by providing hope, and a safe place to live, all the while sharing the gospel message of Jesus. Pastor Harder of Living Christ hopes to welcome the first family in the new house in the upcoming weeks. Thank you to all the donors and volunteers that are making this ministry possible. NEED MET!
