LCC K-9 Comfort Dog Zillah (Immanuel – St. Charles, Missouri) and her handler are keeping eyes on things at Immanuel School while students and staff stay home due to COVID-19. On Tuesday, April 21, LCC K-9 Comfort Dog Charity (Brookfield – Brookfield, Wisconsin) checked in on her friends from Froedert Hospital in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin whom she misses terribly! Charity Comfort Dog and her handlers wanted to let them know that they think about them often. They also sent some lunch and a silly picture to make them smile. A few days later, the staff at Froedert Hospital sent a special picture to Charity Comfort Dog and her team which was posted on her Facebook page on Monday, April 27 with the following message:
"There are some AMAZING people pictured here! These are some of my friends who work in the MICU, which has turned into the floor treating the COVID-19 patients. My team and I sent them a delicious, hot meal to keep them nourished during their long shifts this past weekend. I also sent a silly picture of me to make them smile. To my friends, THANK YOU for all that you are doing right now and I love and miss you too! We will all continue to pray for you!" “But as for you, be strong and do not give up, for your work will be rewarded.” 2 Chronicles 15:7 |
