At Lutheran Church Charities K-9 Comfort Dog Ministry, we believe in the profound impact of presence and comfort. 
​Our theme, Be There With Me,  reflects our commitment to being present with those who are suffering and in need. In times of challenge and adversity, having someone by your side, whether human or a furry friend, makes all the difference.

Teaching the Importance of Presence and Comfort ​

Central to our mission as the Hearts for Jesus Unified Mission Project recipient is to equip educators with tools to teach the vital lessons of presence and comfort.

​With these resources, we hope to inspire a generation of compassionate and empathetic individuals. Let's foster a culture of understanding, support, and kindness for years to come. ​Thank you for working hand in hand with us to create a world where we can all Be There for one another.

LCC K-9 Comfort Dogs are available to make a virtual visit with individual students, classrooms and during Chapel gatherings!

Lutheran Church Charities helps people who are hurting. One of the ways we do this best is by being there with the person who is hurting. That’s why we chose Be There With Me as the theme to go along with the Hearts for Jesus Unified Mission Project. Every dollar raised is going to our LCC K-9 Comfort Dog Ministry Travel Fund so that we can be there with more and more of those who are hurting. 
​
Our prayer is that, through this Hearts for Jesus project, you will not only learn how our LCC K-9 Comfort Dogs bring comfort to those who are hurting, but that each of you will answer those who cry out, “BE THERE WITH ME.” Just as Jesus came to be with us, so we now get to Be There with others. 

There is so much more to discover, learn and do, but for now, let’s ask for the Lord’s blessing upon this year’s Hearts for Jesus project.
