Abraham, a golden retriever, was blessed at Trinity Lutheran Church in Hicksville on Saturday. He is part of the K9 Comfort Dog Ministry, which the Lutheran Church Charities started as a "bridge" to help people.

Greeting Saturday worshippers at Trinity Lutheran Church, Abraham had to be reminded "no licking," because he has a higher purpose. He's the church's "comfort dog."
