LUTHERAN CHURCH CHARITIES CELEBRATES THE ADDITION OF LCC K-9 COMFORT DOG MESHACH

Lutheran Church Charities celebrates the addition of LCC K-9 Comfort Dog Meshach and his team of handlers and ministry partners at Peace Lutheran Church in Grand Island, Nebraska, to the K-9 Comfort Dog Ministry.

In July, the K-9 Comfort Dog Ministry team from Peace Lutheran Church attended handler and ministry training and met their K-9 Comfort Dog Meshach.  After that, the team trained with the Meshach Comfort Dog to build on their handling skills. LCC is excited to announce that LCC K-9 Comfort Dog Meshach and his dedicated and eager team completed the placement process.

The following LCC K-9 Comfort Dog teams from Nebraska and Kansas were there to support and celebrate with Meshach Comfort Dog Ministry team at their commissioning at Peace Lutheran Church on Sunday, August 18:

• Peace Lutheran Church, Columbus, Nebraska, with Eden Comfort Dog
• Peace Lutheran Church, Grand Island, Nebraska, with Eddie Comfort Dog
• Trinity Lutheran Church, Fremont, Nebraska, with Katie Comfort Dog
• The Rock Lutheran Church, Seward, Nebraska, with Nicodemus Comfort Dog
• Immanuel Lutheran Church, Ellsworth, Kansas, with Keren Comfort Dog

Meshach Comfort Dog’s Bible verse is Daniel 3:17: "If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to deliver us from it, and he will deliver us from Your Majesty’s hand."

LCC K-9 Comfort Dog Ministry rejoices in the Lord and thanks Him for continuing to grow and bless this ministry. Comfort Dog Meshach and his team are grateful to follow the path Eddie Comfort Dog and his team from Peace Lutheran Church has laid in Grand Island, NE.

LCC K-9 Comfort Dog Ministry is one of presence.  When the Lord calls, we must go and serve Him.  St Paul’s Comfort Dog Ministry's newest team has heard the call and has said, “Here I am. Send me.” God is with this team as they begin this new journey as part of the LCC K-9 Ministry.
