The Book of Romans: Embracing and Living Out the Gospel of Grace

We are conditioned to think of the Gospel in terms of ‘the gospels’ of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, but in my estimation, there is no statement of the Gospel more clearly and logically presented by the apostle Paul than in the Book of Romans – The Gospel of Grace. Romans is written only about 30 years after the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus. I hope you desire to study this book as much as I do to teach it. I pray that you will never be the same for having done so.

“This Epistle is really the chief part of the New Testament and the very purest Gospel, and is worthy not only that every Christian should know it word for word, by heart, but occupy himself with it every day, as the daily bread of the soul. It can never be read or pondered too much, and the more it is dealt with the more precious it becomes, and the better it tastes.” Martin Luther

This is an in-depth study of the Biblical text.

What is WORD Bible Study?

WORD is a ministry which makes available and conducts in-depth Bible study programs for adults.

Its goal is to equip people to understand the “big story” that unfolds in God’s written Word, to discern the themes that surface within that big story, and to bring people face to face with the Mind, Method, Manner and Ministry of God’s Eternal Living Word, Jesus the Messiah. Although the major focus of WORD’s study programs is the Biblical text, its presentations draw also on insights offered by archeologists, historians and scientists.
